Elizabeth Clarke

“Passionate about Dance”, is how people sum up Elizabeth.

Dancing Ceroc (modern jive) for 6 years, and teaching for 5 years, Elizabeth loves to express herself through dance.

Once Elizabeth experienced ATS in 2007 with its muscle-controlled movements, regal posture and super-friendly sisterhood, she caught the ATS bug and hasn’t looked back since.

“I love traditional partner dancing, but wanted to find a dance where not only would I be able to perform on my own, but also dance with and lead others without losing my love for improvisational musical interpretation. When I found Nicola’s ATS class, I knew my search was over!”

Since then, Elizabeth has attended numerous workshops to fast-track her development of ATS and performed as a member of Bodhaia in venues in Leicestershire and London.

In addition, Elizabeth is studying Argentine Tango, as well as teaching her weekly Ceroc (modern jive) classes in Buckingham. Elizabeth also performs with a Ceroc dance troupe, which won first place in the team cabaret category in the London Ceroc Champs in 2006 and first place in both the London and Blackpool Champs in 2007.

“There’s nothing more exhilarating than hearing a piece of music that you love, finding a dance partner who loves it as much as you, and linking together the most appropriate moves in the perfect sequence as if they where chosen by the composer him/herself. The adrenalin rush is addictive!”
